In the summer of 2016 Lead Goalie Coach Cody Osborne began a mentorship tour in New York and Vancouver with NHL Goalie Coaches, NHL alumni and other seasoned vets of the goalie coaching community. This led to the podcast known as the PGI Crease Podcast which launched in August 2016. Tune into these podcasts as he chats coaching, scouting and much more around the game and position.


Episode 1 - Mitch Korn

In the first episode of the PGI Crease Podcast we talk to Mitch Korn, Goalie Coach on the 2018 Stanley Cup winning Washington Capitals, about Braden Holtby, his famous Korn Camps, tips for summer training and small goalies.

Episode 2 - Grant Fuhr

PGI follows up Episode 1 with Mitch Korn by speaking with 5-time Stanley Cup winner, Vezina & William Jennings trophy winner, 7-time All Star and Hall of Fame goalie Grant Fuhr. Along with his own goalie coaching experiences, he discusses working with Mitch Korn and goalie partner Ron Low, makes recommendations on other sports for goalies and reflects on his classic goalie textbook from 1988, Fuhr on Goaltending.

Episode 3 - Alex Auld

Alex discusses his playing career and how the many different goalie coaches shaped his NHL playing career and the approach he takes to coaching goalies in Vancouver with

Episode 4 - Jonathan De Castro

Jonathan dives into his work with female goalies in the NWHL. His work with Olympian Nana Fujimoto guides the podcast along with his time mentoring with Mitch Korn and forming his New York-based company De Castro Goaltending. His insights in how to structure an engaging and meaningful training environment for goalies is top-notch. As a goalie parent himself, he understands both side of the glass. Justin talks about his writing career and the phone call with Mike Valley that changed his life. Episode 15 - Thomas Magnusson and Stefan Ladhe

After a long hiatus from the mic, the PGI Crease Podcast returns with an interview with two of Sweden’s founding goalie coaches, Thomas Magnusson and Stefan Ladhe. We sat down after the 2018 Network Goaltending Symposium. We talked about coaching, education and innovation as well as their prolific careers with the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation and the development of the Sweden Hockey Institute.
